Music provides a unique experience and a significant contribution to intellectual development. This is what sets music education apart and makes it exceptional. Music provides meaningful experiences and aesthetic experiences that help to create excited learners. At APIS, students learn and discover music through active music-making. Activities in the music program develop the musical skills of performing, listening and analyzing, and creating. Students will engage their mind and body through a mixture of singing, dancing, acting, and the use of specialized or percussion instruments. Lessons are presented with an element of “play,” helping the children learn at their own level of understanding.
